The Observatory Orchestra is a musical organization resident in the Griffith Park and Elysian Park areas of the City of Los Angeles. As a performance ensemble, it is committed to adhering to the highest standards of musical execution in presenting an orchestral and chamber repertoire. As a community orchestra, it is committed to providing cultural enrichment for the area, increasing community cohesion, and raising its quality of life.

No Boys Aloud Horn Quartet

The No Boys Aloud Horn Quartet began in Los Angeles in 2007 as an all-female chamber ensemble. With repertoire ranging from Bach to German folk music to jazz, The No Boys Aloud Quartet is an exciting addition to the Silver Lake Library Open House.

Keith Barry

Silver Lake Conservatory

Keith Barry is a unique and versatile multi-instrumentalist. He plays the Viola, Saxophone, Flute and Harmonica. He also composes, arranges and sings. Keith has performed and recorded with artists as diverse as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ray Charles and Israel Lopez "Cachao". In 2001 Keith and long time friend Flea, bassist of Red Hot Chili Peppers, founded the Silverlake Conservatory of Music, a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to facilitating music education for children.

Jack Wilson Jr. takes its name from, collectively, a Native American prophet, a pioneering soul singer, and a classic villain of Western film. Music for body & soul.
